Beijing, September 26th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Martin Chedondo, Zimbabwean Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, Qian said that the CPC is willing to work together with the Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front to well implement the consensus reached by the top leaders of the both Parties and both countries, promote the implementation of the follow-up actions of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Zimbabwe and play an exemplary role in building a stronger community of shared future for China and Africa. 

Chedondo warmly congratulated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and thanked the Chinese side for its long-term and precious support. He expressed the willingness to promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries through strengthening inter-party exchanges to promote the constant development of Zimbabwe-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
