Beijing, September 25th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today at request with Signe Brudeset, the newly-appointed Norwegian Ambassador to China.

Guo briefed on China’s development and changes since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, emphasizing that the CPC is willing to reinforce exchanges and mutual learning with all the major political parties in Norway to boost relations between the two countries for stable and healthy development.

Signe Brudeset congratulated the People’s Republic of China on the 70th anniversary of its founding, and spoke positively of the tremendous achievements China has made under the leadership of the CPC over the past 70 years. She expressed that Norway is willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation in various areas to push for the constant and forward-looking development of Norway-China relations.
