Beijing, October 10th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the 2nd seminar for cadres of political parties from African countries. The seminar, taking following the development path that suits oneself-China's experience and Africa’s development as the theme, was headed by Francine Tumushime, member of the National Executive Committee of the Rwandan Patriotic Front.
Qian made positive comments on China-Africa relations and poverty reduction cooperation, saying that the CPC is ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with African politicl parties, implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa cooperation and work together to build a China-Africa community of shared future.
Tumushime spoke highly of the achievements made since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago. He stressed that African political parties are willing to learn CPC’s experience in state governance and administration, especially the strategy of targeted poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and actively promote practical cooperation in poverty reduction between Africa and China for common development.
