Beijing, November 5th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a multiparty delegation of the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan led by Shuhrat Bafaev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science, Education, Culture and Sport of the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan.

Speaking positively of China-Uzbekistan relations, Qian said that the CPC is willing to enhance friendly exchanges with all parties of the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan, well implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and write a new chapter for China-Uzbekistan comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era.

Bafaev said that all parties in the Supreme Assembly attach great importance to developing relations with the CPC and are willing to strengthen mutual learning on issues such as party governance and state administration and party building and work together to elevate Uzbekistan-China cooperation across the board to a new level.
