Beijing, November 28th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Simona Leskovar, State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia.

Speaking positively of China-Slovenia relations and cooperation in various fields, Qian said that China is willing to cement cooperation with Slovenia, push for greater development of bilateral and China-Europe relations in the new era by relying on the Belt and Road cooperation and the "17+1" cooperation mechanism under its framework.

Leskovar said that Slovenia attaches great importance to developing relations with China and is ready to join hands with China to strengthen cooperation in economy, trade, people-to-people, science, education and other fields and push for new progress in bilateral relations and EU-China relations.
