CPC Delegation Visits Ireland, Malta and Greece

At the invitation of Dail Eireann of Ireland, the Labour Party of Malta and the New Democracy Party of Greece, Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit the three countries from July 4th to 12th.  

In Ireland, the delegation met with Sean O Fearghail, Chair of Dail Eireann, Bertie Ahern, former Irish Prime Minister, and representatives from Ireland's Department of Foreign Affairs, major political parties and think tanks.  



In Malta, the delegation met with Ian Borg, Malta's Foreign Minister, Bernard Grech, Leader of the Nationalist Party, Ramona Attard, President of the Labour Party, and representatives from think tanks, local authorities and friendly locals.  



In Greece, the delegation met with Kostas Fragogiannis, Deputy Foreign Minister, leaders of the New Democracy Party, the Syriza Party and the Communist Party of Greece, as well as representatives of think tanks and media.  



The political heavyweights of the three countries expressed their willingness to further deepen inter-party exchanges with the CPC, strengthen experience exchanges in party building and state governance, expand practical cooperation in various fields, and promote the development of bilateral relations and Europe-China relations.
