Beijing, August 30th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Roberto Speranza, Democratic Party Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament and former Minister of Health of Italy.
Ma spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, introduced the Chinese people's great journey of standing up, growing rich and becoming stronger under the leadership of the CPC, and introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, the Chinese side attaches great importance to developing China-Italy relations and is willing to strengthen exchanges and dialogue with all Italian political parties including the Democratic Party, expand China-Italy and China-Europe mutually beneficial cooperation, and jointly promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Speranza said, Italy and China, both ancient civilizations, should conduct dialogue and strengthen cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and mutual understanding, and actively contribute to the building of a more just and reasonable international order. The Democratic Party of Italy is willing to maintain and deepen traditional friendly relations with the CPC, and promote together the healthy and stable development of Italy-China and Europe-China relations.
