Beijing, September 4th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the Indonesian House of Representatives led by Fadli Zon, Chairperson of the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the Indonesian House of Representatives and Vice Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement Party.
Sun made positive comments on the sound development momentum of China-Indonesia relations, saying that the Chinese side is willing to work with the Indonesian side to sum up the successful experience of the development of bilateral relations in recent years, implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, push China-Indonesia relations for more fruits and jointly safeguard regional peace and stability. The CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with all political parties in Indonesia and contribute to the in-depth and substantial development of the building of a China-Indonesia community with a shared future.
Fadli and the delegation spoke highly of China's development achievements, saying that all Indonesian political parties fully support the development of closer Indonesian-China relations and look forward to learning more from China's successful experience and pushing for more achievements in bilateral cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, poverty alleviation, transformation and development. Indonesia is willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China in international and regional affairs and jointly safeguard a peaceful and safe environment for regional development.
