Beijing, September 6th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Hélène Conway-Mouret, Vice President of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces Committee of the French Senate. Lu introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and emphasized that China will steadily expand institutional opening up, and safeguard the multilateral trading system with the WTO at its core. The two sides also exchanged views on China-France relations and international and regional issues of common concern.
