Beijing, September 9th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Jose Luis Centella, President of the Spanish Communist Party (PCE), who was visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Ma said, the PCE has actively contributed to the healthy and stable development of China-Spain relations. The Chinese side is willing to further deepen the friendship between the two Parties, promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and further enrich the connotation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Spain. The two sides also exchanged views on China-European Union (EU) relations.
Centella spoke highly of the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and the three major global initiatives proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. He said, the PCE is willing to further strengthen dialogue and exchanges with the CPC, promote the development of Spain-China relations, EU-China relations and the Belt and Road cooperation, and jointly maintain world prosperity and stability.
