Beijing, September 19th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation led by Roger Felix Adom, Director of Office of the Executive Secretary of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) of Cote d'Ivoire and special consultant to Prime Minister of Cote d'Ivoire.
Chen gave a positive assessment of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, and promoted the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee in an in-depth way. He said, the CPC is ready to work with the RHDP to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and the outcomes of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), intensify high-level exchanges, deepen exchanges and mutual learning, promote pragmatic cooperation, promote China-Cote d'Ivoire relations for new progress, and build together an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era.
Adom said, President Xi Jinping proposed major measures for China and Africa to jointly promote modernization at the 2024 FOCAC Summit. In line with the Cote d'Ivoire's 2030 vision, these measures greatly encouraged Cote d'Ivoire. The RHDP thanks the Chinese side for its long-term and strong support for the economic and social development of Cote d'Ivoire and hopes to further learn experience of party building and state governance from the CPC, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two Parties, and promote the relationship between the two countries to a new level.
