Ma Hui Meets with an Egyptian Business Delegation

Beijing, November 1st—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation of the business community of Egypt led by Maged ELMASRY, head of the transport commission of Homeland Defenders Party of Egypt.

Ma said, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership has maintained sound development momentum, with fruitful results in practical cooperation in various fields such as economy and trade. The IDCPC is willing to actively give play to the role as the platform of "political party + practical cooperation" to promote China-Egypt economic, trade and investment cooperation, and benefit the two peoples. Ma also introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.

ELMASRY said, Egypt's business community is willing to take Egypt's accession to the BRICS as an opportunity to participate in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in an in-depth way, and strengthen cooperation with the Chinese side in clean energy, smart agriculture, e-commerce, advanced manufacturing, etc. to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
