Beijing, November 11th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam(CPV) led by Dao Thanh Truong, Vice President of Hanoi National University.
Zhao said, General Secretary Xi Jinping paid a historic visit to Vietnam last year, and the two sides announced the decision to build a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance, which became an important milestone in the history of China-Vietnam relations. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Vietnamese side to fully implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, strengthen ideological and theoretical exchanges, deepen cooperation in education, science, technology, human resources and other fields, and contribute more to the development of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries.
Dao said, the CPV attaches great importance to studying and drawing on China's experience in cultivating high-caliber talents. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen exchanges and cooperation and push the construction of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future with a focus on the six overall goals?of “greater political mutual trust, more solid security cooperation, deeper mutually beneficial cooperation, stronger popular support, closer multilateral coordination and better handling of differences”.
