Li Mingxiang Meets with Foreign Representatives of the Third China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum

Zhuhai, November 26th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with foreign representatives attending the third China-Arab States Young Leaders Forum, including Ahmed Saad El-Din Mohamed Abd El-Rehim, leader of the Nation's Future Party of Egypt and First Deputy Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Abdullah Mohammed Abu Al-Ghaith, Vice Chairman of Republic of Yemen Shura Council, Mohammed Ishtaye, Member of the Fatah Central Committee and former Palestinian Prime Minister.

Li said, the friendly exchanges between China and Arab states have a long history. Since the new era, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and the leaders of Arab countries, China-Arab relations have entered the best period in history. The CPC is willing to work with Arab states to further enrich the content and forms of inter-party exchanges, implement the important consensus reached by Chinese and Arab leaders, strengthen political mutual trust, mutual learning of concepts, practical cooperation and youth exchanges, and push for greater development of China-Arab strategic partnership.

The representatives of Arab countries said, Arab-China relations enjoy profound history and bright prospects for development. Upholding common values and goals, the young people of Arab countries and China are important drivers of bilateral cooperation. Both sides should strengthen exchanges and cooperation in such fields as innovation, entrepreneurship and dialogue among civilizations to contribute to the continuous improvement of bilateral relations.
