Zhao Shitong Meets with a Delegation of Workers' Party (PT) of Brazil

Beijing, March 26th—Zhao Shitong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the morning with a delegation of Workers' Party (PT) of Brazil led by Lúcia Marina dos Santos, state deputy for Rio de Janeiro.  


Zhao said President Xi Jinping paid a historic visit to Brazil in 2024, elevating China-Brazil relations to a new level of building a China-Brazil community with a shared future. The CPC is willing to work with the PT to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and push China-Brazil relations for greater development. The IDCPC is willing to strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration and practical cooperation with the Brazilian side through the "political party + practical cooperation" platform. 

Santos said, the Brazilian side highly appreciates China's historic achievements in poverty alleviation and is willing to actively learn experience and practices from the Chinese side, deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese side in economy, trade, agriculture, culture, sports, climate change, etc, and jointly promote the relations between the two Parties and the two countries to a new level.
