From March 16th to 18th, Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to visit Peru. Ma met with Eduardo Salhuana, President of the Congress of Peru, and leaders of major political parties of Peru. Ma also delivered a speech at the International Institute of Governance on China-Peru relations and China's development. The two sides agreed that China-Peru friendship enjoys a profound foundation and are willing to work together to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, enhance political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, jointly pursue high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and promote the continuous development of China-Peru comprehensive strategic partnership.
