Beijing, April 14th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of senior cadres of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) of Kenya, which was led by Hassan Omar, Secretary General of the UDA.
Li gave a positive assessment of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He emphatically introduced General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on party building and the CPC's education campaign to implement the central Party leadership's eight-point decision on improving work conduct. He expressed that China is willing to work with the UDA to implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and President William Ruto, further strengthen strategic communication, deepen experience exchanges in state governance and administration and cooperation in cadre training, and jointly build a closer China-Kenya community with a shared future in the new era.
Omar said that China is a key partner in Kenya's economic and social development. The UDA is willing to, under the guidance of the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, work with the CPC to strengthen institutionalized exchanges, intensify exchanges at all levels, deepen concept exchanges, and promote bilateral comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership for in-depth development.
