Beijing, May 26th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the afternoon with a delegation of political heavyweights from Pakistan’s Balochistan. 

Sun spoke highly of the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership. She said, Balochistan is an important province of Pakistan and plays a key role in advancing the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and bilateral relations. China is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with all sectors of Balochistan, continue to carry out cooperation in people's livelihood that benefits the local area, and promote the construction of the CPEC to better facilitate the economic development and improvement of people's livelihood in Balochistan. It is hoped that Balochistan will take more effective measures to actively create a safe environment for bilateral cooperation. 

The Pakistani side highly praised the traditional friendship between Pakistan and China, stating that all sectors of Balochistan firmly support Pakistan-China friendship and the construction of the CPEC. They look forward to deepening practical cooperation with China in various fields within the framework of the CPEC to better benefit the local people. Balochistan is fully committed to creating favorable conditions for personnel exchanges between the two sides and the construction of the CPEC.
