Jin Xin Meets with Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, PPS General Secretary of Morocco

Beijing, June 19th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Mohamed Nabil Benabdallah, General Secretary of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) of Morocco, who came to China for the 31st Beijing International Book Fair. 


Jin spoke positively of China-Morocco relationship, saying that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and King Mohammed VI, China-Morocco strategic partnership has developed rapidly. China is willing to work with Morocco to consolidate political mutual trust, advance practical cooperation, deepen people-to-people and cultural exchanges, intensify international coordination, and promote greater development of bilateral relations. The CPC is willing to work with the PPS to strengthen friendly exchanges, deepen exchanges and mutual learning of concepts, and strengthen cooperation in youth, women, media, think tanks, etc. Jin also introduced the three major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping and elaborated on China's position on the hotspot issues in the Middle East. 

Benabdallah said, the PPS adheres to the one-China principle, supports the three major global initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping, and stands ready to work with China to firmly support each other's core interests, expand economic and trade cooperation, and deepen people-to-people and cultural exchanges. Morocco appreciates China's just position on regional issues and hopes that China will play a greater role in maintaining regional peace and stability and international fairness and justice. The PPS attaches importance to the friendly and cooperative relations with the CPC, and looks forward to strengthening exchanges between the two Parties at all levels and promoting the continuous development of Morocco-China strategic partnership through inter-party channels.
