Beijing, July 4th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of discipline inspection and supervision officials of Laos led by Xaikham Ounmixay, Vice President of the Central Control Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and Vice President of State Inspection Authority of Laos.
Chen gave a positive assessment of China-Laos relations, saying that China and Laos are friendly socialist neighbors and a community with a shared future with strategic significance. China is willing to work with Laos to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and countries, strengthen experience exchanges in party building and state governance, raise the ability to lead and govern, better build respective countries, and follow the socialist path. Chen also introduced China's efforts in comprehensively exercising rigorous governance over the Party, especially the CPC's education campaign to implement the central Party leadership's eight-point decision on improving work conduct.
Xaikham said, Laos sincerely admires the CPC for uniting and leading the Chinese people in forging ahead with resolve and tenacity and for achieving remarkable achievements. Laos is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with China, learn from China's valuable experience, and promote the solid progress of the construction of the Laos-China community with a shared future, so as to serve the development of the cause of respective Parties and countries.
