Beijing, July 11th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the United Party for National Development (UPND) of Zambia led by Batuke Imenda, Secretary-General of the UPND. 

Li spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries, saying that the CPC is willing to work with the UPND to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Hakainde Hichilema and the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, promote mutual learning among civilizations, strengthen unity and cooperation, and promote the long-term and stable development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Zambia. 

Imenda thanked China for its long-term support for Zambia's national development, reaffirmed Zambia's commitment to the one-China principle, and said that the UPND looks forward to learning from China's experience in areas such as Party building and poverty alleviation, deepening exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promoting the continuous development of Zambia-China relations.
