Beijing, July 24th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a training class of leaders of the Union of Latin American Parties led by Andrea Ojeda, Vice President of the Union of Latin American Parties.
Lu positively evaluated China-Latin America relations and inter-party exchanges. China and Latin America, both being developing countries and important forces in the Global South, share extensive common interests on many issues. China is willing to work hand in hand with the member parties of the Union of Latin American Parties and their respective countries to take the implementation of the outcomes of the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC Forum as an opportunity to jointly build a China-Latin America community with a shared future.
Ojeda and members of the training class said, Latin America is willing to play the role of a bridge in inter-party exchanges to promote the upgrading of relations between Latin America and China, advance the overall cooperation between Latin America and China to a new level, and contribute to the economic development and people's well-being of respective countries.
