Beijing, August 18th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a political and business delegation of Japan led by Atsushi Oshima, Member of the House of Representatives. 

The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on issues of common concern, including China-Japan relations. The Japanese side agreed to promote the development of a constructive and stable China-Japan relationship fit for the new era based on a correct understanding and inheritance of history to create a peaceful, friendly, and cooperative future for China and Japan.
