Beijing, September 9th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today on the morning with a delegation led by CK Raut, President of the Janamat Party of Nepal.  

Sun said, China and Nepal are connected by mountains and rivers, and our friendship has a long history. China-Nepal friendly cooperation is for all the people and all political parties of Nepal. Under the new circumstances, the CPC is willing to strengthen communications and exchanges with all major political parties of Nepal, including the Janamat Party, carry forward the traditional friendship, deepen political mutual trust, promote practical cooperation, and enhance exchanges of experience in state governance, so as to contribute the strength of political parties to the healthy and stable development of China-Nepal relations. 

Raut said, Nepali political parties attach great importance to developing relations with China, firmly adhere to the one-China principle, and are grateful for China's important assistance to Nepal's economic and social development. The Janamat Party looks forward to deepening exchanges with the CPC, learning from China's advanced experiences in poverty reduction and development, and promoting the continuous development of Nepal-China relations.
