Beijing, October 13th—Jin Xin, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Mohammadali Amani, Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran.
Jin spoke positively of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. He said, the CPC is willing to work with the Islamic Coalition Party to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state during their meeting in Beijing in September this year. Taking the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Iran and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership next year as an opportunity, the CPC is willing to work with the Islamic Coalition Party to deepen exchanges on the concepts of party building and state governance, promote pragmatic cooperation and people-to-people bonds, and boost relations between the two countries.
Amani said, Iran attaches great importance to developing relations with China and appreciates the four major global initiatives proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. It expects China to play a greater role in maintaining peace and development in the Middle East. The Islamic Coalition Party cherishes the traditional friendship with the CPC and is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, enhance communication and coordination on multilateral platforms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the political party forum for BRICS countries, and actively contribute to the development of relations between the two countries and the Global South cooperation.
