Beijing, October 22nd—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of Cambodian People's Party led by Suos Yara, First Vice Chairman of the External Relations Commission of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and Chairman of the National Assembly Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Media and Information and Sak Setha, Senior Minister and Permanent Vice-President of the National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development.

Chen said, in April this year, the successful state visit of President Xi Jinping to Cambodia and the important meeting between the leaders of the two sides have charted the course and drawn the blueprint for the development of China-Cambodia relations. China is willing to work with Cambodia to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two sides, strengthen inter-party exchanges, promote practical cooperation, enhance coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs, and jointly build an all-weather China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era, so as to make positive contributions to regional and global peace, stability, development and prosperity. 

Suos Yara said, Cambodia highly values the ironclad friendship between Cambodia and China, firmly supports the four major global initiatives and the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and is willing to strengthen inter-party exchanges with China, deepen experience exchanges in party building and state governance, and promote the steady and long-term development of the all-weather Cambodia-China community with a shared future in the new era.
