Li Mingxiang Meets with a Delegation of the Union for Democracy and Social Progress of the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Beijing, October 27th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), led by Augustin Kabuya, Secretary-General of the UDPS. 


Li introduced the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and spoke positively of the traditional friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and the DRC. He said, the CPC is willing to work with the UDPS to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen high-level exchanges, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, promote pragmatic cooperation and people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and continuously enrich the connotation of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and the DRC. 

Kabuya said, the DRC admires the tremendous achievements of Chinese modernization and is willing to learn the successful governance experience from the CPC, promote exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields to help the DRC explore a development path that suits its national conditions.
