Beijing, October 27th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Claudia Sanhueza, Vice Minister of International Economic Relations of Chile.

Ma elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, the 15th Five-Year Plan provides a top-level design and strategic blueprint for China's development over the next five years. Its successful implementation will bring new opportunities for China-Chile cooperation and global development. China is willing to work with Chile to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, jointly pursue high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and continue to promote the China-Chile relations to new highs through inter-party channels.
Sanhueza congratulated on the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, highly praising China's achievements in economic and social development. Sanhueza believes that China's experience and practices in poverty reduction and inclusive development provide useful references for developing countries including Chile. He said, Chile hopes to strengthen cooperation with China in areas such as resource and energy development, artificial intelligence and sustainable development to promote greater development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
