Beijing, October 28th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the CPV Central Committee's Policy and Strategy Department led by Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Department.

Chen said, in April this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping successfully paid a state visit to Vietnam. The general secretaries of the two Parties drew up a blueprint for further promoting the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance. China is willing to work with Vietnam to fully implement the important consensus reached by the general secretaries of the two Parties, follow the six overall goals of “greater political mutual trust, more solid security cooperation, deeper mutually beneficial cooperation, stronger popular support, closer multilateral coordination and better handling of differences”, continuously deepen high-level strategic communication, promote practical cooperation in various fields, jointly safeguard international fairness and justice, and ensure the steady and long-term development of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future. Chen also introduced the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee in light of China's economic and social development. 

Nguyen Duc Hien congratulated on the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, emphasizing that China's development achievements have injected strong impetus into regional and global economic growth. Vietnam is willing to work with China to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary Xi Jinping, maintain close high-level exchanges, carry forward the traditional friendship, deepen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, and enhance mutual learning and exchanges of experience in economic and social development, scientific and technological innovation, and medium- and long-term planning formulation, so as to promote the in-depth and substantive development of the Vietnam-China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
