Lu Kang Meets with a Delegation of the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations Advisory Board

Beijing, November 17th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations Advisory Board led by Marina Go, Chair of the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations Advisory Board.


Lu said, the China-Australia relations continue to show a positive and upward trend, with exchanges and cooperation in various fields steadily advancing. The fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has adopted the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, emphasizing that China will further deepen reform comprehensively and unswervingly expand high-level opening up. The Australian side is welcome to continue to deepen cooperation with China and share in China's development opportunities. 

The two sides also exchanged views on international issues of common interest. 

Scott Dewar, Australian Ambassador to China, attended the meeting.
