November 18th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Scott Kennedy, Senior adviser and Trustee Chair in Chinese Business and Economics at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). The two sides exchanged views on China-US relations and other related issues. Lu briefed on the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development adopted at the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and welcomed all countries including the US to share in China’s development opportunities.
