Beijing, November 18th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Unity Party of Liberia led by Luther Tarpeh, National Chairman of the Unity Party of Liberia.

Li briefed on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, positively evaluated the contributions made by the Unity Party to promoting the development of China-Liberia relations, and expressed that China is willing to work with the Unity Party to take the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and President Joseph Nyumah Boakai as guidance, firmly support each other politically, deepen exchanges of experience in state governance and administration, strengthen international cooperation, and promote the continuous development of the strategic partnership between China and Liberia.
Tarpeh spoke highly of the great achievements in Chinese modernization, especially in poverty alleviation, and said that the Unity Party firmly adheres to the one-China principle and is willing to learn from the valuable experience of the CPC in party building, poverty alleviation and development, continuously enhance its governance capacity, and explore a modernization path that suits the conditions of Liberia.
