Beijing, November 17th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Gustavo Menendez, Head of International Relations for Argentina's Justicialist Party and Mayor of Merlo.

Ma elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. He said, the plenary session has made top-level designs and strategic plans for China's economic and social development in the next five years, and will inject new impetus into mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Argentina. The CPC is willing to deepen traditional friendship with the Justicialist Party, strengthen experience exchanges in state governance and administration, and promote practical cooperation in various fields through inter-party channels to ensure the steady and long-term development of China-Argentina relations.
Menendez spoke highly of China's remarkable achievements in economic and social development, and expressed admiration for the CPC's scientific formulation and continuous implementation of the five-year plans. He said, the Justicialist Party is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, learn from the CPC's experience and practices in poverty reduction and social security, and promote practical cooperation at the local level to better benefit the people of both countries.
