Beijing, December 10th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam(CPV) led by Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC).

Chen said, in April this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping successfully paid a state visit to Vietnam and reached important consensus with General Secretary of the CPVCC To Lam on further promoting the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance. China is willing to work with Vietnam to fully implement the important consensus reached by the General Secretaries of the two Parties, follow the six overall goals of “greater political mutual trust, more solid security cooperation, deeper mutually beneficial cooperation, stronger popular support, closer multilateral coordination and better handling of differences”, give full play to the strategic leading role of the relations between the two Parties in China-Vietnam relations, deepen high-level exchanges, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and jointly address challenges to continuously inject positive energy into the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future. Chen also introduced the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. 

Ha Quoc Tri congratulated the successful convening of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, emphasizing that Vietnam is willing to work with China to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary Xi Jinping, deepen high-level exchanges, enhance political mutual trust, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties in all fields. The two sides should also strengthen exchanges and mutual learning in areas such as medium- and long-term planning formulation and the building of a socialist country under the rule of law, and accelerate the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.
