Ma Hui Meets with a Delegation of Waipareira Trust

Beijing, March 30th—Ma Hui, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with a delegation of Waipareira Trust from New Zealand led by John Tamihere, Waipareira Trust chief executive. 


Ma said, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, the China-New Zealand comprehensive strategic partnership has maintained a sound momentum of development. The IDCPC is willing to actively play the role of the "political party + practical cooperation" platform to promote economic and trade cooperation between China and New Zealand and bring benefits to the people of both countries. Ma also briefed the delegation on the spirit of China's Two Sessions in 2026 and the main contents of the outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan. 

Tamihere said, New Zealand appreciates China's remarkable development achievements in the fields of medical health and artificial intelligence. Waipareira Trust is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China to jointly enhance the health and well-being of the people of both countries.
