Beijing, May 20th—Jin Xin, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with participants of the "Oriental Scholarship" Program of Peking University. 

Jin delivered an in-depth briefing on the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the four major global initiatives proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. He also introduced the IDCPC's work in developing new-type inter-party exchanges and cooperation and advancing a global network of political party partnerships. Jin said, the CPC stands ready to strengthen experience exchange in state governance and administration, actively share the practices and experience of Chinese modernization with Global South countries, and support Global South countries in jointly advancing modernization. 

The foreign participants expressed that China’s remarkable development achievements over recent decades offer valuable inspiration to the Global South. Global South countries should strengthen solidarity and cooperation and explore modernization paths suited to their national conditions. They expected China to continuously inject confidence and vitality into the world through plans such as the 15th Five-Year Plan, and lead Global South countries toward common development and prosperity.
