Beijing, June 24th—Jin Xin, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of Libyan political figures led by Abdulmutalib Bagas, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the High Council of State of Libya. 

Jin said, China and Libya share a traditional friendship and, for 48 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, have always supported each other and treated each other as equals. China is ready to work with Libya to deliver on the important consensuses reached by the two heads of state, deepen exchanges and cooperation across all sectors, and promote the China-Libya strategic partnership for constant new development. China supports Libya in safeguarding national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and stands ready to work with the international community to help Libya achieve stability and development at an early date. The CPC is ready to deepen the exchange of experience in party governance and state governance with Libya's political parties, carry out "political party+" cooperation, and promote practical cooperation between the two countries and stronger people-to-people bonds. Jin also briefed the delegation on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building, as well as on the concept of building a community with a shared future for humanity, the Belt and Road Initiative and the four global initiatives. 

Bagas said, the friendship between Libya and China has a long and rich history. Libya attaches great importance to developing its relations with China, and looks forward to closer exchanges at all levels with the Chinese side, and deeper cooperation in such areas as infrastructure and energy. Chinese enterprises are welcome to return to Libya to participate in reconstruction. Libya's political parties highly appreciate the great achievements made by the Chinese people under the leadership of the CPC in advancing Chinese modernization, and stand ready to learn from the CPC's advanced experience in strategic planning, state governance, and party governance and discipline, so as to jointly advance Libya-China relations.
