St. Petersburg, June 25th—The United Russia Party of Russia hosted here today the Standing Committee Meeting of the Movement Forum of Supporters of the Struggle Against Modern Practices of Neocolonialism, which brought political heavyweights from nearly 20 countries and international organizations. Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended the meeting via video link and delivered a pre-recorded speech. 

Sun noted, the current international landscape is undergoing complex and profound changes, with some individual countries pursuing hegemonism and mounting tensions across global affairs. As a responsible major country, China stands firmly on the right side of history and works with all nations to forge greater solidarity under the banner of multilateralism. The CPC stands ready to strengthen unity and coordination with all friendly political parties worldwide to shoulder its due responsibility and commitment for world peace and development. 

Heavyweights of political parties from various countries stated in their speeches that countries of the Global South must jointly resist all forms of neocolonialism to safeguard world peace and a promising future for humanity. Representatives of multiple political parties voiced appreciation for and expectations of China’s efforts to foster a more just and equitable international order.
