Beijing, September 22nd—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of senior officials of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), led by Suos Yara, Member of the CPP Central Committee, First Vice Chairman of the External Relations Commission of the CPP Central Committee and Chairman of the Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Information of the Cambodian National Assembly. 

Sun welcomed Suos Yara and the CPP delegation he led to China. She said that since the beginning of this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping has met successively with CPP President and Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and Prime Minister Hun Manet during their visits to China, charting the blueprint and pointing the way forward for the development of China-Cambodia relations. Under the new circumstances, China stands ready to work with Cambodia to deliver on the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, deepen political mutual trust at a higher level, enrich the "Diamond Hexagon" cooperation framework, further strengthen exchanges at all levels between the two Parties and mutual learning of experience, raise the level of multilateral coordination, and push for greater progress in building the all-weather China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era. 

Suos Yara said that Cambodia and China are good friends sharing a common destiny and helping each other through thick and thin. Cambodia attaches great importance to developing relations with China, firmly pursues the one-China principle, and speaks positively of the vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity and the four major global initiatives put forward by President Xi. Cambodia stands ready to work with China to strengthen the alignment of development strategies, deepen exchanges and mutual learning, maintain close multilateral coordination and collaboration, and jointly implement the new memorandum of understanding on exchanges and cooperation between the two Parties, so as to ensure the steady and sustained development of the all-weather Cambodia-China community with a shared future in the new era.
