Chen Xi Meets with South Africa’s ANC Study Group

Beijing, June 5th—Chen Xi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with the study group of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Sudan led by Ace Magashule, Secretary-General of the ANC.

Chen said that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Sudan, and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the CPC and the ANC. Standing at a new historical starting point, the CPC is willing to, together with the ANC, enhance high-level exchanges, deepen communication and mutual learning on state governance and administration, and increase cooperation in multilateral areas, so as to lead China-South Sudan relations to achieve new span and jointly contribute to the building of a closer community with shared future for China and Africa.

Magashule said that the ANC of South Sudan attaches high importance to developing relations with the CPC, and expects to further elevate the level of communication and mutual learning of experience on party governance and state administration between the two parties and improve ruling capacity, in a bid to benefit the people in the country.
