KAMPALA, March 26 -- Secretary-General of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) of Uganda and Government Prime Minister Patrick Amama Mbabazi met here yesterday with the CPC goodwill delegation led by Chen Fengxiang, vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Mbabazi commended the long-term and close relations between Uganda and China based on friendship and cooperation and said Uganda is grateful for China's support to his country over the years. Uganda is committed to further cooperation with China in trade and other economic activities and is also willing to share experience with China on governance, said the Prime Minister.

Chen Fengxiang said the CPC sets store by the relations with the NRM and is ready to exchange ideas with the latter on governance and capacity-building for party cadres, so as to deepen their party-to-party relations. China is ready to help maintain the momentum of the sound relations with Uganda, said the vice-minister.
