Beijing, February 27th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) met here today at request with Miguel Angel Ramirez, Cuban Ambassador to China.

Li spoke positively of the progress made in the exchanges between the two parties of both countries in 2017, and also exchanged views with Ambassador Ramirez on how to implement the consensus reached by both sides on deepening relations between the two parties when Song Tao, Special Envoy of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Minister of the IDCPC, visited Cuba not long ago.

Speaking highly of the important role played by party-to-party exchanges in the development of relations between the two countries, Ramirez expressed that Cuba will make joint efforts with China to promote relations between the two parties and the two countries for greater development.
