From May 28th to 30th, Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, led a CPC delegation to Russia to attend the meeting of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties and to participate in a forum on Eurasian cooperation hosted by the United Russia party. Sun met with Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the United Russia's General Council. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening exchanges between the ruling parties of China and Russia and jointly implementing the important consensus reached by the two countries' leaders. Sun also introduced the spirit of the Central Conference on Work Related to Neighboring Countries.
