Beijing, June 17th—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with young leaders from Latin America who came to China to participate in the 2025 China–Latin America Youth Exchange.
Lu positively evaluated the China-Latin America relations and the exchanges between political parties, and expressed that in the new era, young people from China and Latin America should enhance exchanges and mutual learning, and contribute their wisdom and strength to jointly building a China-Latin America community with a shared future and promoting South-South cooperation.
Young leaders from political parties, think tanks, media and social organizations in Latin America highly praised the tremendous achievements made in socialism with Chinese characteristics and Chinese modernization, and expressed their willingness to actively play their part in a wide range of areas to carry forward the ever-lasting friendship between China and Latin America, promote mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between the two sides, and create a brighter future for China-Latin America relations.
