Beijing, July 22nd—Lu Kang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Gerardo Peñalver, Cuban First Deputy Foreign Minister.  

Lu positively spoke of the relations between the two Parties and the two countries. China is willing to work with Cuba to implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, give full play to the political guiding role of inter-party relations in bilateral relations, and promote the in-depth and substantial development of the China-Cuba community with a shared future. 

Peñalver said, Cuba hopes to further strengthen exchanges between the two Parties and promote practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and move forward hand in hand on the path of building socialism.
