Beijing, November 12th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with participants of a training course composed of 22 political party spokespersons and news affairs directors from 18 countries.

Sun introduced the guiding ideology, governance philosophy, and self-reform of the CPC, as well as the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. She said, the CPC is committed to seeking happiness for the people and peace and development for the world, and is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with political parties of all countries to promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. She encouraged the representatives of the media of political parties to enhance their objective understanding of China and the CPC through this visit and report and introduce this to their own people. In the current complex and profound changes in the international public opinion environment, political parties and media of all countries should strengthen unity and cooperation, join hands to deal with risks and challenges, and jointly strengthen the voice of the Global South. 

The foreign guests spoke highly of the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development adopted at the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, admiring the tremendous achievements of China's development under the leadership of the CPC. They said, this not only brings opportunities to various countries but also provides valuable insights for developing countries and the Global South in exploring paths to modernization. They expressed the willingness to strengthen exchanges on public opinion and media release experience with China, deepen media cooperation, and work together to address challenges such as false information, in order to better introduce a true and multi-dimensional China and the CPC to their own people.
