Beijing, November 12th—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with members of the Global South Elite Program on Governance, who came to China for study and research.

Li highly spoke of the traditional friendly relations between China and Africa, elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and emphasized that the CPC is willing to work with the African side to implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and heads of countries of Southern Africa and the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and jointly promote the building of the all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era. He encouraged the elite program members to cherish the opportunity for study and research, continuously deepen their understanding and cognition of Chinese modernization, and become inheritors of China-Africa friendship.
The foreign guests highly appraised the great achievements of Chinese modernization. They said, the Elite Program on Governance will play an important role in the training of governance talents for Africa. They expressed the willingness to earnestly learn from the CPC's experience in state administration, and contribute to promoting the development and revitalization of Africa and inheriting China-Africa friendship.
