Beijing, November 13th—Sun Haiyan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC), met here today with Pradeep Kumar Rawat, Indian Ambassador to China.
Sun said, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-India relations have achieved positive improvement and development recently. The IDCPC is willing to work with the Indian side to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries through inter-party channels, enhance exchanges, improve mutual understanding, and contribute to the healthy and stable development of China-India relations.
Pradeep Kumar Rawat said, inter-party exchanges play an important role in promoting the development of India-China relations. In the new situation, the Indian side attaches importance to and supports the political parties of the two countries in strengthening exchanges and dialogues, enhancing mutual understanding and correct perception, and promoting friendly cooperation between India and China.
