Beijing, November 20th—Chen Zhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of senior cadres of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) led by Boutsady Thanamueang, Member of the LPRP Central Committee, and Vice Chairwoman of the LPRP Central Committee's Organization Commission.

Chen said, China and Laos are socialist comrades and brothers. In September this year, General Secretary and President Xi Jinping held a meeting with General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, who came to China for the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, and for a working visit. They jointly drew up a grand blueprint for the development of China-Laos relations in the new era. China is willing to work with Laos to thoroughly implement the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, deepen inter-party exchanges, expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and promote the development of China-Laos relations and the building of a community with a shared future to a new level.
Boutsady said, Laos speaks positively of the great achievements made in China's economic and social development under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning of experience in party building and state governance with China, and work together to build a high-standard, high-quality and high-level Laos-China community with a shared future.
