Beijing, December 1st—Li Mingxiang, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of the Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) led by Nghiem Phu Cuong, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the CPVCC.

Li highly spoke of the high-level development of relations between the two Parties and the two countries, elaborated on the spirit of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and expressed that China is willing to work with Vietnam to fully implement the important consensus reached by the general secretaries of the two Parties, follow the six overall goals of “greater political mutual trust, more solid security cooperation, deeper mutually beneficial cooperation, stronger popular support, closer multilateral coordination and better handling of differences”, and promote the China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance for in-depth and solid development. The CPC firmly supports the CPV in holding its 14th National Congress well and is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with Vietnam in theories and experience in areas such as comprehensively exercising rigorous governance over the Party, and join hands on the path of socialist modernization. 

Highly speaking of the significance of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, Nghiem Phu Cuong said, under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, the building of the Vietnam-China community with a shared future is running at a high level. Vietnam is willing to work with China to strengthen unity and friendship, deepen exchanges and cooperation in all fields, share experiences on topics such as Party building and discipline inspection and supervision, and serve the development of the cause of respective Parties and countries as well as Vietnam-China relations.
